Wonderful Weekend

We had a fabulous weekend up in Boise. The trial was fun and successful, and it was so nice to see good friends. Sully and Barley had a blast playing, although at first Sully couldn't believe how energetic the puppy was. Guess he's getting old! It was great to see Pat and Aileen. We also got to meet Pat's sister Shana and her daughter Claire. Ty thought Claire was beautiful! Check out their blog...http://shanahorvath.blogspot.com/

Linda, April, Julie and Bill drove down from Moscow/Pullman for the trial. All the dogs had impressive runs, and the ribbons were abundant. Ty was passed around to all the aunties, and got to meet April's grandbaby Christopher David. I walked most of the courses with Ty on my back, so hopefully he is starting to pick up handling skills at a young age! :)

Sully ran wonderfully for me this weekend. He picked up four qualifying runs and three new titles, but it should have been more if it weren't for his rusty handler! We'll get to see everyone again in August when the club holds their next trial.

To top the weekend off, Ty's 5th tooth came through! The 6th looks like it will closely follow.

Pat, Aileen, Josie and Barley

Chris has figured out zippers and tried to free Brekka. She was just happy to have Chris come and snuggle!

Julie was injured for the trial so she was the token Ty holder while I ran.

Our set-up, and Bill with Abby catching their breath after a fast tunnelers run. Ty visited each dog this weekend while pulling himself up on their crates.

Sully and his loot, although he donated the toy to Ty.

Ty and his loot. Impressive! Thanks to Bandit and Kimber who gave Ty three stuffed trucks! Thanks Auntie April for the books!

The best part of loot, playing with it!

Nana has been asking for videos of Ty crawling

Here's another

A video of our last run of the weekend. Maybe next trial I will remember that I have a video camera and get more runs filmed. The class is tunnelers and it is Sully's favorite. You even get to see me make an error and Sully save my heiny (not to mention the running like a duck factor)!!

Eight Months Old!

We've been enjoying the spring weather and our new house, so much so that we haven't posted in many days! Weekends have been packed full of house projects, with a long list left to do. Ty continues to enjoy pulling himself up anywhere he can, but has taken time out to figure out real crawling off his belly. He has decided eating isn't so bad as long as it's on his terms (hence the mesh feeder in the photos) and figured out the baby sign for nursing today! Hopefully more signs will be in our future now that we have the first one. This weekend we are heading up to Boise for an agility trial, and will be staying with Aileen and Pat and their new puppy Barley! Sully can't wait to meet him. Friends from Pullman and Moscow will be coming down for the trial too. Yippee! Take care everyone.

Yumm, sweet potato.

Even more fun, spashing in the mess I made with water from my cup!

Avacodo, a BIG hit last week. It was the first food he tried two months ago but didn't care for it then.

Ty's new carrier now that he is far too heavy to be carried in the sling. Can you see him back there? Also, two weekends of projects. One, pulling the brush out of the fence line and the second was the new fence Bucky put up this past weekend. The next is getting rid of the brush!!

Baby gates are loads of entertainment.

It took a long time to get this shot, but check out Ty's front teeth. They are huge!

We're Moved In!

Yeah, we've moved into our new house! We had a wonderful visit with Nana who helped tremendously during the move. Thanks!! Unpacking has led to home projects, with a never ending list to keep us busy. In his attempts to keep moving, Ty has mastered pulling himself up onto any object in the house. He has even learned how to gracefully exit the pulling up! Not much else to report just busy, busy! Ty would like to also voice his $0.02....
