Really? You're kidding me?!

We had out first storm of the winter this weekend, and the reports are we received 8 inches of snow! Luckily the snow has stopped, no large branches fell on our house (we haven't lost any leaves yet), and it is already melting. It's supposed to be in the 70's next weekend. :) I went to a baby shower this afternoon while the snow was really falling, so Ty and Bucky played in the snow and built Ty's first snow-baby. I also posted pics of our trip to North Carolina last week. We had a great trip attending Bucky's cousin's wedding. It was gorgeous in the mountains and we wished we could have stayed a bit longer.

As for Ty, he is talking and talking. He mimics new words almost daily and has become a sign language fool. Between signing and talking, we can tell exactly what he wants. That's always nice...except when he desperatly wants that beautiful toy while sitting in his high chair with his hands covered in maranara sauce. :)

VERY upset the fun in the snow was over.

So they carved our pumpkin!

Or just played with the seeds.

Wisconsin Pics

We had a great trip to Wisconsin, and really enjoyed getting to know Carter! The boys had some rough sharing moments in the beginning, but by the end they were really playing together. Hopefully we'll be able to see the Johnsons again soon before the boys are too much older. I'm sure whenever that happens the boys will be so different! Ty must have been inspired by Carter as he was walking a bit more while there. Once we got home Ty showed Bucky he walked more for about a day, then committed to full time walking. I have really enjoyed having a walker and Ty seems to be enjoying walking! He's trying to run, but only gets out a few steps in a row. Instead he is cruising quickly and LOVES walking in the backyard and the aisles of Home Depot and Lowes. We have been planning some projects for the house and have been visiting the stores quite a bit. All that endless walking surface is perfect for a toddler!

It was sooo cute, Carter pushing Ty until...

Ty thought he was getting pushed off!

They never wanted twins. :)

Sorry Carter for the nakedness on your toy

The only way we would all fit in the car!

We know someone is in there!

Boise Photos

We had a great weekend in Boise, and it's hard to believe it was almost one month ago. Before I know it, November will be here and we'll be traveling up there again. We've been busy, and I feel like I've said that a million times! Sorry for the delay in posting. I look back at these photos with Ty's old haircut and he looks sooo different. We went up to Boise for an agility trial and to visit with Julie, April, Bill, Adrianne, John and Chris, plus lots of dogs! It was a successful agility weekend and lots of fun with good company. Everyone threw a birthday party for Ty, and it seemed that Chris (who is a year older than Ty) and Ty are starting to enjoy each other's company. We can only imagine the trouble they are going to get into together in a few years! Thank you everyone for such a good time and great party, and for helping me so I can run my dog!

There's a dog in there!

Mmm, a dog leash.

Yeah, I let my son play on agility equipment at the end of the day. Got a problem with that? :)

They were having so much fun!

East Coast Photos

As promised, here is the link for the photos taken on our early August trip to the northeast. There are lots, but I know there are a few die-hards (Nana!) who will look through them all. Enjoy!

Change of Plans

We're staying in Wisconsin for a little longer than planned. Barb found out Friday morning that the lump she has been having various tests on needs to come now, and surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. Ty and I are staying until Saturday to help with Carter (he is the same age as Ty) until Mom is a bit more on her feet. We had a wonderful weekend of camping after frantically changing everyone's plans to accommodate surgery so soon. I'm sad to not see Heather, Michael and the boyz but am so happy I have such a wonderful friend who understands why I stayed. We're also so happy we can stay and help with the Johnson's! Guess this just means we'll have to schedule another visit out here again! If you want to hear full details of the surgery, or just wish Barb warm and happy thoughts :), their blog is http://justinandbarbarajohnson.blogspot.com We have a bunch of cute pics of the boys that I can't wait to post! Stay tuned for those.
